Lyrarakis Dafni Psarades Vineyard 2020

This winery was established on the island of Crete in 1966, the family have devoted themselves to the revival of indigenous, almost extinct varietals from the islands. Dafni was a grape variety saved from extinction by the family. It has a distinctively herbaceous aroma, with notes of garigue, licorice, cardamom and green olives. On the palate there re hints of green pepper, thyme and lemon. This is a great match for any roasted vegetable dish.
