In 2016 Iain Croucher began North Star Spirits in Glasgow after working for the independent bottler AD Rattray. North Start has since bottled a wide variety of both Single Malt and Blended Scotch Whisky including some American whiskies too. The brand is named after the star ‘Polaris’ – the current Northern pole star. The theme of astronomy continues with various releases being named after other stars in the universe including ‘Vega’ and ‘Sirius’. The bottler was awarded ‘Independent Bottler of the Year’ at the Scottish Whisky Awards in 2020.

This single cask single malt whisky was blended from 2 Sherry Butts from ‘a mix of distilleries around Scotland’ which were aged for 10 years and then bottled at 46.1% ABV. 802 bottles produced for worldwide distribution.
