This bottling represents the first ever Kavalan Solist Peated Single Malt to be officially launched in Australia. The combination of peated barley at a low 10PPM allows the traditional tropical fruit notes of the Kavalan spirit to mingle with smoky notes and create a fruity smoky whisky with a wonderful aroma and full flavour.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Notes of gently smoked tropical fruits, red berries, plums and figs, vanilla and subtle oak with a hint of leather.
Palate: Tropical fruit notes of pineapple and mango, smoked barley, coffee, salted caramel and a slightly touch of menthol.
Finish: Long with subtle smoke, leather, dried tropical fruits, oak and milk chocolate.
