North Star Spirits is an independent bottler based in Glasgow, Scotland. They pride themselves on bottling the finest single malt Scotch whisky, blended whisky and blended malt Scotch whisky. Producing artisan single cask whisky from various regions of Scotland as well as bottling rums, gins and Bourbon whiskey. All products are small batch, bottled at cask strength.
A limited-edition blended malt from North Star Spirits, named Supersonic Mach 1. The Supersonic series is now complete with the Mach 1 bottling following on from Mach 4, 3, and 2. A sherry matured blended whisky bottled at a very flavoursome 46% ABV.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Clootie dumpling and wholemeal bread, Christmas icing sugar with marzipan, orange oil and liquorice
Palate: Walnut loaf mingles with malted barley, sugary lollies and apple pastries with home baking spices of nutmeg and cinnamon.
Finish: Dried dark fruits and orange oil.
