The Tullibardine Distillery is owned by Picard Vins & Spiritueux and was set up to produce a light, nutty malt which was mostly used when young and aged in refill casks for buyer-own blends. You can now expect more high toned floral notes with the nuttiness being toned down on previous bottlings.
This is a superb new release from the Tullibardine Distillery. Finished in a 225 litre cask which previously held maturing Sauternes dessert wine from Chateau Suduiraut. Bottled at 43% ABV.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Freshly cut citrus fruits, creamy vanilla, vanilla toffee, cocoa and wonderful integrated spice.
Palate: Orange and pineapple cake, stewed blood oranges, golden syrup, bold spices.
Finish: Medium with tropical fruits and sweet spice.
