Distilled in June 2000 and aged for at least 20 years and bottled in October 2020. Matured in a combination of casks to give this whisky a unique mouthfeel and flavour. According to North Star Spirits, Vega will replace Polaris as our North Star in 11,000 years. Only 600 bottles were produced for worldwide distribution.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Toasted nuts leads to vanilla fudge and some honey sweetness.
Palate: Malt driven then lovely vanilla and honey notes combine with roasted nuts and oak.
Finish: Cherry Bakewell tarts with some drying spice.
