Using the wisdom and the extraordinary skill of their Master Distiller Michael D’Souza, the six row barley that is sourced from foothills of Himalayas, the unique micro climate and the pure waters from Goa Paul John Single Malt is able to capture the wonderful aromas and flavours we would expect from our favourite whiskies.
Paul John whisky is oily with plenty of fruity notes, honey sweetness and also rather floral as well as creamy.
The ‘Brilliance’ expression is an un-peated single malt bottled at 46% abv. It has been matured solely in ex-Bourbon American oak barrels and bottled non chill-filtered. This expression has been rated highly by whisky writer Jim Murray.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: A beautiful malty fruitiness combines with ginger nut biscuits and subtle Christmas spice.
Palate: A vibrant and fruity whisky with dark chocolate and citrus leading to figs, raisins and almonds.
Finish: Lots of orchard fruits and spice to finish things off.
