This Writers Tears Pot Still whiskey is bottled at cask strength giving it a little for warmth and lots more flavour. Distilled at the Walsh distillery, Carlow, Ireland.
Triple distilled and then aged in American oak casks, a truly excellent bottling of the this Irish whiskey.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Lots of honey and fruit at first. Peaches and kumquat, apricots and a little banana.
Palate: The peach and banana is more evident now as this whisky develops a creamy texture.
Finish: A long finish with pineapple and coconut.
