Released for the first time in 2015 as part of the Last Great Malts series this Aberfeldy expression is first matured in ex-Bourbon American oak casks and then finished in Oloroso ex-Sherry casks.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Christmas cake and butterscotch custard, drizzling of caramel sauce and a slight maltiness.
Palate: Lively, mandarins and honey, spice and raisins.
Finish: Balanced oak and waxy.
