Since 2009 Brian Hollingworth and Genise Hollingworth have worked tirelessly to bring their dream to reality. The Black Gate Distillery was opened to the public in 2012 and is a monument for the continued research Brian and Genise have dedicated their lives to.
The distillery is located in Central West New South Wales and is the first to be constructed in the area. They offer a unique experience and produce hand crafted spirits at the highest quality.
The cask strength peated whiskies released at the Black Gate Distillery are notorious for being big bold robust flavour bombs. If this is the type of whisky you really enjoy then we would suggest that grabbing one will not be enough.
Bottled at natural cask strength from barrel BG074 which was previously used to hold Tawny Port. Distilled in June 2017 and bottled in July 2020. One of only 170 bottles produced.
