For over 50 years, La Cofradia have been distilling and bottling Tequila and it is with this length of experience that has made them one of the finest and best in the market. Producing top quality products with high quality agave using traditional methods but in a modern industrial plant. Their tequilas are bottled in blown glass or ceramic bottles.
La Cofradia (NOM 1137) was the original distillery that produced the now much sought after Clase Azul Tequila.
Hand Painted by an Artisan and signed in Tequila Mexico, the second hottest La Cofradia product of 2022 in Australia.
La Cofradia Ed Iguana Reposado edition contains aged tequila made from 100% agave and was aged for 6 months in white oak barrels. This ageing process provides an excellent balance on the palate with flavours of agave and oak. This bottle was handmade by Mexican craftsmen. Mexico has the largest number of species of cactus in the world and its great reserve of flora and fauna is a source of pride and admiration.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Creamy toffee sweetness dances with dried fruits and soft oak.
Palate: Soft agave mingles with stone fruits, creamy toffee and oak.
Finish: Delicate spices, fruity and hints of caramel.
