Michter’s US1 Kentucky Straight Rye

Our Michter’s US1 Kentucky Straight Rye is made from select American rye grain that is sheared to maximize the extraction of flavor from the grain. Ideal neat or in cocktails, every bottle comes from a single barrel – a unique attribute reflecting our extraordinary commitment to offering Kentucky Straight Rye whiskey of the absolute highest quality at every level of the Michter’s range. Michter’s Sour Mash
Distilled in small batches and in new American white oak barrels. Made from a special selection of grains, barrel aged, and later on filtered according to the exacting Michter standards. 
Michter’s American Whiskey
Classified as whiskey and not bourbon because it’s not aged in new charred oak barrels, but rather used bourbon barrels. This allows mellow flavor with less intense smoky, charred influence found in bourbons. Instead, sweetness, oak, mint and spice are dominant flavors.
Michter’s Bourbon
Complex nose, with an appealing overlay of camphor. Sweetness comes first, a concentrated quality, then corn and wood smoke flavors with rye underpinning.. The finish is lingering with wood notes mingling with sweet maple syrup flavors.
