Produced by the oldest and most famous spirit companies in Japan, Suntory. Its origins stretch back to a small shop, started in 1899 by Torii Shinjiro, which specialized in selling imported wines. Suntory started producing Brandy in 1935. Shinjiro Torii, the founder of Suntory, had the vision to develop a western liquor culture in Japan, which led him to create a brandy that reflects Japanese craftsmanship.
Japans most popular VSOP brandy. Like all Japanese spirits, this grape brandy impresses with its nuance and balance with a bright, fruity aroma, a mellow taste and a charming finish. Presented in a glass decanter with stopper.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich notes of chestnuts and wild berries, and dark cacao.
Palate: Brioche, honeysuckle, wild raspberries, apple tarts, roasted chestnuts and marzipan.
Finish: Long with sweet oak, stewed pear and vanilla bean.
