Julie Hamilton (Global Ambassador) Brand Ambassador looking after Port Askaig, Elements of Islay & Single Malts of Scotland in the UK.You’d be hard-pressed to find a better multitasker than this resident Glaswegian. Over the years, Julie has dedicated her time to being Chair of Glasgow Whisky Club, Director of Glasgow’s Whisky Festival and a Scotch Malt Whisky Society ambassador. As of 2019, she is Elixir Distiller’s full-time Brand Ambassador, hosting events and tastings across the country – but of course, she still runs the whisky festival in her hometown.
Chanel Liquori (International Sales Manager) at Elixir Distillers Ltd is a passionate and award-winning bartender who joins is from the sunny shores of Brooklyn by way of Australia and New Zealand. Having worked with several international drinks companies, including Pernod Ricard, Bacardi and Atom Brands, Chanel brings a passion for the hospitality and spirits industry which is only surpassed by her undeniable love of Prince.
The Single Malts Of Scotland range is brought to us by London based Elixir Distillers. They specialise in independently bottling Japanese and Scottish whisky but also bottle American and Irish whisky from time to time.The company’s three core whisky brands are Elements of Islay, Port Askaig and The Single Malts of Scotland, while it also bottles navy rum under the Black Tot brand. The Single Malts of Scotland range provides independent bottlings of vintage single malt Scotch from many distilleries and at a variety of ages.
Julie & Chanel will guide us through a wonderful line up of independent bottled whiskies from The Single Malts Of Scotland whilst sharing some of the best stories of a growing industry which has changed so rapidly over the past decade.
