The Tullibardine Distillery is owned by Picard Vins & Spiritueux and was set up to produce a light, nutty malt which was mostly used when young and aged in refill casks for buyer-own blends. You can now expect more high toned floral notes with the nuttiness being toned down on previous bottlings.
Released in 2013 from the Tullibardine Distillery. This malty whisky is finished in 500 litre casks which previously held sherry. Bottled at 43% ABV.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Aromatic spices and dried fruits, malty with treacle toffee and baked apples.
Palate: Stewed orchard fruits, earthy cinnamon spice, dark fruits and luxurious spices
Finish: Long and creamy, butterscotch and caramel with toasted nuts.
